First of all, the name of my website is intended to
attract you to my website and check out the services I offer. It is in no way intended to encourage litigation. While I have represented hundreds of people and businesses in over twenty-three years of practicing (as both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation), it has never been my intention to encourage lawsuits. I will not take on cases that do not have merit. In fact, I have turned away many cases when, after reviewing the facts, I could find no basis for pursuing them. If you decide to meet with me to review a potential case, I will thoroughly explain to you why I believe your case does or does not have merit. Likewise, I will not undertake a case which I perceive is based on malice, revenge or an intent to harass. |

| So, with all of the attorneys out there, why should you come to me? After you review this statement I encourage you to please look at my qualifications page. However, I will tell you now that I believe I charge less than other attorneys. For example, on personal injury cases where there is a contingency fee agreement I will charge 30% of any recovery if the case settles and 35% if the case proceeds to trial. However, for medical malpractice I charge a rate of 33% if the case settles and 38% if it goes to trial. (Please note: If your case is referred to me by another attorney, I have to charge what the referring attorney charges).
If you do meet with me and decide to have me represent you, I will keep you apprised of every development in your case. You will be copied on all correspondence to other parties on your case. You will be provided with copies of all pleadings, briefs, motions and discovery documents. I will return all phone calls as soon as possible and, unless there are extenuating circumstances, within twenty-four hours. When you hire me, you will deal with me. Your case and legal matters will have my full attention. You have my word on this.
